Singapore, June 27, 2011 - Zecotek Photonics Inc. (TSX-V: ZMS; Frankfurt: W1I) a developer of leading-edge photonics technologies for medical, industrial and scientific markets, today announced effective immediately the following management appointments and staff changes:

Mr. Azman Ariffin - Executive Vice President (Operations) and General Manager of the Imaging Division;
Mr. David Wynne - Senior Vice President, Business Planning and Development;
Dr. Serge Khorev - Senior Vice President, Technology;
Mr. Nadeem Rauf - General Manager of the Display Division;
Mr. John Moore - General Manager of the Laser Division; and
Mr. Michael Minder – interim CFO and Executive Vice President Finance and Investor Relations;
Mr. Azim Daya - has stepped down as CFO but continues to oversee corporate accounting of the Company.

“It is necessary to bolster our management team as we move from the final stages of technology development to full commercialization," said Dr. A.F Zerrouk, Chairman, President and CEO of Zecotek Photonics.  “We are experiencing greater market acceptance for our advanced scientific technologies and we are singularly focused on the commercialization of these technologies and the transfer to production. Our main projects include: solid-state MAPD photo detectors and related technologies such as the IDM (Integrated Display Module); LFS scintillation material portfolio; tuneable fiber lasers, and the exclusive auto-stereoscopic 3D display. We are moving to fully commercialize these products in partnership with major manufacturers and distributors and require a very strong and highly experienced team.  We have made these changes to strengthen both our management structure and management systems and with my new team I am looking forward to a very productive year."
