Fiber lasers are set to capture a large share of the $2-billion industrial laser market from conventional laser technologies. Their design is generally more efficient, more compact, and more reliable that conventional lasers, and the life cycle cost is competitive compared to solid-state and even gas lasers.
ZLS fiber laser products are aimed at OEM manufacturers of medical and industrial systems who are looking for the higher power at specific wavelengths available from fiber sources. ZLS products will also be attractive for use in fundamental and applied research. Our portfolio comprises dozen of models of green and blue-green wavelength emitting lasers, whereas blue and red lasers are in development.
CW visible fiber lasers
ZLS is developing fiber lasers in much of the visible spectral region for blue, green, and red ranges with a free choice of operating wavelengths including traditional ones, e.g. conventionally available from argon ion and solid-state lasers, as future replacement devices of those lasers in many existing applications:
Bio-instrumentation: DNA sequencing, flow cytometry, scanning laser microscopy;
Medicine: ophthalmology, dermatology, urology;
Printing and imaging, inspection, and measurement;
Laser writing and lithography: laser writing, lithography, and sintering;
Fundamental research: spectroscopy, fluorescence analysis.
Features of ZLS visible fiber lasers:
- Broad and continuous range of selectable operating wavelengths within 458–490, 514–560, and 625–655 nm, including most of well-known lines, such as 458, 488, 515, 529, 531 (Ar/Kr ion laser replacement), 532 (DPSS replacement), 540, 550, 560 (additional), and many others. Standard fixed-wavelength models are available at 515, 540, 550, and 560 nm (see the specification sheet) with any wavelength within these three ranges selectable as an option.
Wide continuous wavelength tuneability (> 20 nm). Our standard continuously tuneable models cover the ranges of 530–540, 540–550, and 540–560 nm and as an option, any range of up to 20 nm can be selected from the basic 458–490, 514–560, and 625–655 nm ranges.
Multi-wavelength and narrow-band options.
